Privacy, picket and horizontal fences with sturdy posts and gates that swing true and stay square.
A fence defines a property, adds privacy and keeps pets and children in. A good one stays straight for decades. Most failures come from weak posts, poor drainage or sagging gates, not the boards, so we focus on the parts you do not see.
We install cedar and treated wood fences in privacy, picket, shadow box, horizontal slat and board-on-board styles, set posts in concrete at the right depth, hang gates on heavy hinges with proper bracing and finish with stain or sealer. We handle slopes with stepped or racked panels. Before building, we confirm property lines, call for utility marking and talk through neighbors, HOA rules and gate locations. A clear plan at the start prevents surprises later, and it lets us place posts where the fence will look best and last longest.
Posts set deep in concrete with good drainage resist leaning. Pressure-treated posts hold up in the ground, and cedar boards look beautiful above.
Gates carry their own weight and swing often. We build frames with diagonal bracing and use heavy hinges and latches.
A hilly yard needs a thoughtful design. We choose stepped or racked layouts and keep rails and boards neat on grade changes.
Wood in the ground rots first. We keep boards off the soil, use treated posts and add gravel for drainage.
