The many small carpentry jobs that pile up: loose rails, squeaky stairs, missing trim and shelves to hang, done in one visit.
Every house has a list: a closet door that rubs, a stair that squeaks, a missing piece of trim, a shelf that needs hanging. Individually they are small jobs, but together they can wear on you. A skilled carpenter can clear the list in a day or two.
We bundle small carpentry tasks into one visit, bring the tools and materials and work through your list in order. We also handle post-construction punch lists for builders and homeowners, and tell you plainly if something on the list needs a different trade. We keep a running list during the visit, check each item off with you and photograph the result. You see exactly what was done, and anything we could not finish is noted with a plan for the next visit, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Walk through the house and write everything down. We help prioritize, bundle similar jobs and estimate a total.
Small jobs deserve the same care as large ones. We cut, fit and finish them so they look as though they were never needed.
New homes often have punch lists after the walkthrough. We handle trim, doors, hardware and adjustments for builders and owners.
Photos and a list help us bring the right parts. Send them before the visit and we arrive prepared.
