Consultation and measuring
We visit, listen, measure and take photos. We ask how you will use the space and what you like. This is the time to mention concerns about budget, schedule and the rest of the house.
Good measurements prevent most problems later.
Design and proposal
We sketch or draw the project, choose materials and write a scope with a price and schedule. For custom work, you review drawings and approve before anything is cut.
Taking time here saves time later.
Materials and permits
Materials are ordered, and permits are pulled when needed. Lead times for lumber, doors and hardware can be weeks.
We tell you early about any long lead items.
Build and install
Rough work comes first: framing, blocking and prep. Then we install doors, trim, cabinets or built-ins. We protect floors and clean up daily.
We keep you posted on progress.
Finish and detail
Finishing includes filling, sanding, caulking and touch-ups, and sometimes staining or painting. Small details here make the work look professional.
We check every joint and line.
Walk-through and care
We walk the project with you, adjust anything that needs it and explain care. You get notes on maintenance and a path for any follow-up.
We leave the site clean.
Decide early, measure carefully and keep communication open at every stage.
